Hello everyone,

Welcome back. Not a whole lot needs to be said about the need for email addresses where visitors and customers can reach you on your store.

This lesson is based on the idea that you created a domain in shopify's admin panel when you signed up for your store. I show you how to create your own domain in that lesson here:
(This link opens a new window so you can refresh yourself on that lesson and come right back here)

In that lesson, I recommended you make the choice to manage your domain's email addresses within Shopify because it will make things easier later. You can still manage your email addresses through another service where you've purchased an existing domain, but I've often found they charge you to do that. That's why I suggested managing your email addresses here in Shopify. I've always liked to start all my businesses with as little upfront costs as possible.

Let's add some email addresses:

Step 1) Go to your Admin Dashboard and click on "Domains."

In the Domain box at the bottom right, hopefully your domain is there and has a status of "OK."

*If not, contact Shopify support for help here:

https://help.shopify.com/

Step 2) If your domain says it's OK, click on the domain name itself.

At the bottom of the page you land on next, you'll see a box called "Email Forwarding."
Click on the link under the title "Email Forwarding" that says "Add an email address."
Step 3) Start adding some email addresses you'll want to use on your store.

In this example, you can see some of the email addresses I've added to mine. The obvious ones people normally try if they don't know who to send an email to. I sent them to my personal gmail address that I use all the time for most things. You might like to send certain ones to certain email addresses if you have several. It's all easy to personalize however it makes sense to you.

All set!
